Aintree Horse Solarium

First launched in 2008, the Aintree horse solarium from Equine SunSwitch is a popular equine horse solarium with both leisure and professional horse riders. It has four 1.5kW watersafe BaskZone® heat emitters. The heat dispersion is wide and even, ensuring no uncomfortable hot spots.

The Aintree horse solarium is perfect for owners with one or two horses, or for small yards. It provides the same beneficial shortwave infrared as the Goodwood, but at a lower price point thanks to the simpler ECT1.2 watersafe timer controllers. These permit independent adjustment of infrared on each side of the horse, timed sessions up to 60 minutes with automatic switch off, and a timer override for continuous operation. The Aintree runs off standard household mains electricity (equivalent of two 13 amp power points).
